The simplest things are often the most easily overlooked – and that can certainly be true when it comes to real estate marketing. Today, I challenge you to review some of the most basic elements of your real estate marketing to determine if any of the following apply to you:

  • Are you missing opportunities to drive traffic to your website?
  • Do your clients know how to reach you if you don’t pick up the phone?
  • Are you maximizing all of your online profiles for optimum branding?

You won't be, with these four easy real estate marketing wins!

  1. Analyze Your Email Signature

You know you should have your name, title and phone number in your email signature – but are you listing your website and social profiles to help people learn more about you, access your listings and create brand recognition? If not, give this signature a try:

  1. Update Your Voicemail Message

Sometimes you’re not going to be able to answer the phone in time. That’s ok – but what should your leads or clients do in the meantime? Is there an online resource they can access to see your listings? Do you have an assistant or team member they can connect with? Make sure you include all of that information in your voicemail message. We suggest using something like this:

You have reached [your name] with [company name]. I’m sorry I missed your call – please leave a detailed message with your name and number and I will get back to you as soon as possible. For available listings, local market data and mortgage prequalification (pick 3 things available on your site), please visit my website at [your domain]. If you need immediate assistance, please call (name) at (number).Thank you for your call and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Adding your website URL and a simple call-to-action turns a plain old voicemail message into an
    opportunity to prompt action.

  1. Give Your Social Profiles a Makeover

Make sure you’re taking advantage of the new Facebook layout, that you’re business information is up to date, your location data is visible and accurate and you have a nice looking cover image. Keep these elements consistent across all of your social profiles.

  1. Add a Call-to-Action to Your Business Cards

Again - name, email and phone is great – but make sure you add a call-to-action, like your website URL and links to any social profiles you use on a regular basis.
