Halloween is a great time to be a real estate agent. Do you know why? As a real estate agent, your success greatly relies on how many people you meet and how many of those people see your listings. Luckily, Halloween is a holiday that gets people outside and walking around neighborhoods. Do you see where I’m going with this?

Here are 4 skillful ways to generate real estate leads on Halloween:

Flyers

Marketing flyers are a great way to generate real estate leads this Halloween. Everyone knows on Halloween kids go door to door asking for candy. Where there are kids, there are bound to be parents too... parents that just may be looking to move! Make sure that your flyer boxes are filled so that when people walk by your listing, they can grab a flyer. Also, make sure that your flyer is up to date with all of your listings so you can maximize your exposure.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget your call to action! If you don’t tell people what you want them to do, they likely won’t be mind readers and may not contact you for more information.

Business Cards

If you are feeling extra crafty, try making goodie bags full of candy for the neighborhood kids, attaching a business card to each of the bags. This not only appeals to the kids, but the parents as well. Keep in mind to select the “right candy,” because, just like everything else you do, your choice in candy will be a reflection of your business.

Email Marketing

Send out an email that discusses the importance of good curb appeal. As a real estate agent, you may have come across a haunted house or two. Use your industry knowledge to encourage simple upgrades to those looking to sell so they can get the most for their property. If you really want to get your point across, try including some real-life haunted houses on the market.

Contest

Who doesn't love a little bit of friendly competition, right? Try hosting a contest on your social media pages and real estate website to see who has the spookiest Halloween decor, or who can carve the best Jack O’ Lantern. This would be a great opportunity to get creative with your promotional items since these will be the prizes. Have fun with your real estate leads while promoting your business.

Halloween provides the opportunity for people to walk by your listings, and it also provides you with the opportunity to meet some real estate leads face to face. Halloween doesn't have to be a holiday limited to people who sell candy or costumes. Scare up some real estate leads using these clever ideas, so that you too can be closing deals this Halloween!
