Call your past clients! Your past clients know how you work and they hopefully had a great experience with you, which means that if they are ever looking to buy or sell their next home - you should be their first call. Your current database is a great source for future business. Send mailers about new listings that you have on the market. You can also send birthday/anniversary emails so that you remain at the forefront of your past client’s minds. Real estate is greatly a referral business, which means you can either ask your past clients if they know anyone looking to buy or sell, or you can ask if they are looking to buy or sell again.
If you aren’t getting clients in your current market, switch it up. It’s okay to target another demographic even if you haven’t in the past. In fact, it’s actually beneficial to your business to target multiple demographics. Often times going to a public place and watching interactions among others can help you figure out who your next target market can be. Yes, I realize this sounds strange and borderline creepy, but I can assure you that you won't be the only person people watching in that area… someone may be watching your actions as well ;)
