The best way to capture a real estate lead's attention on Facebook is through video content. Videos are like the shiny butterflies of social media, in the sense they will capture a user’s attention and cause them to stop scrolling. Photos can be glanced at, and status updates can be skimmed, but videos demand the viewer’s full attention. These are the videos that will captivate your audience and leave a memorable impression.

5 Types of Videos to Engage Real Estate Leads on Facebook

The best way to capture a real estate lead's attention on Facebook is through video content. Videos are like the shiny butterflies of social media, in the sense they will capture a user’s attention and cause them to stop scrolling. Photos can be glanced at, and status updates can be skimmed, but videos demand the viewer’s full attention. These are the videos that will captivate your audience and leave a memorable impression.

1. Neighborhood Highlights

Do you claim to be the neighborhood expert? You know what they say in the film industry – show, don't tell. Highlight some of the best aspects of the neighborhood you work in. Little known eateries, landmarks, fun history lessons, the best views, etc.

2. Facebook Live

Facebook Live is a great way to connect with potential home buyers and sellers. You can give a tour of your listing and answer questions live. After the stream ends, you can update the image description with any relevant information you mentioned in your video or you can add a link to your website to convert viewers into real estate leads.

3. FAQ Videos

What frequently asked questions are you tired of answering repeatedly? Answer one of those questions with a video! First-time home buyers and FSBO’s are likely to ask those questions again in the future - so you can get ahead of them with a video answering that question. Bonus tip is to also upload your video to YouTube for good search engine result rankings.

4. Listing Videos

You can put together a basic slideshow of listing photos. You can also go a little higher quality by hiring a video production person to create a nice virtual home tour. Listing videos are a great way to highlight homes that are currently on the market. They give sellers ideas for home renovations, and buyers will know more about what is currently available.
Zurple has introduced new Social Tools into our platform - Facebook Listing Videos will be available by the end of the year. To learn more about our social tools click here.

5. Video Infographics

A great way to educate, entertain, and provide value to your Facebook fans is by sharing a video infographic. Real Estate video infographics can be created using a variety of different programs. It may be a bit time consuming, but the results are worth it. If you don't have the time to create a video infographic yourself, we have created a shareable real estate video infographic that you can post today!
